Product Use and Safety

Sigma AgriScience makes professional fertilizers, soil amendments and biologicals, sold for use according to their label directions. The label on each bag or jug is the guide for how much to use, where and when. Please read it before every use.

Safe use around children and pets

After spreading granular products, water them in or work them into the soil. Do not leave granules piled on the surface.
Keep children and pets off treated areas until the product has been watered in and the surface is dry. For liquids, wait until sprayed areas are dry.
Natural organic ingredients can smell attractive to dogs. Water in thoroughly and do not let pets dig in or eat from treated areas or an open bag.
Sweep any granules off sidewalks, driveways and patios back onto the lawn or bed.
Store bags closed and jugs tightly capped, in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets. Never store product in food or drink containers.
Our products are not for human or animal consumption. Wash hands after handling.
If product is swallowed, rinse the mouth and drink water. Call a doctor, or a veterinarian for a pet, if any symptoms appear.
Keep product out of storm drains, ditches and waterways.

A Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is linked on each product page where available, or by email request to info@sigma-agri.com.

Advice for your lawn or garden

Descriptions, photos and "commonly used on" suggestions on this site are general information, not a recommendation for any particular lawn, garden or plant. For advice on your own lawn, garden, trees or soil, we recommend your local Cooperative Extension office. Every state has one through its land-grant university (in Texas, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension), and they offer homeowner advice and soil testing. Find your state's Extension service.

Results

Results depend on conditions we can't control, including soil, weather, watering, plant type and how the product is applied, so we don't guarantee specific results.
